For added convenience and safety, the Tread Base GPS is compatible with inReach global satellite communicators, enabling two-way TEXTILEt messaging, interactive SOS, and weather updates. In addition, when connected to a compatible smartphone, Tread provides access to live weather information, animated radar, and a built-in media player for controlling and enjoying music on the go.
